Gone. Just like that.
It was the middle of the day and you were hanging out with on of your best friends, Feliciano Vargas. He was such a happy guy, always greeting you with a smile and a hug, and sometimes brought you small little presents. You had developed some form of a “crush” on him so to say, and it took a while for you to notice it yourself. However, to avoid awkwardness and/or rejection, you never told him of it.
You two were sitting on a bench in a local park, him talking animatedly to you about something that happened between him and his two friends. And then, suddenly, he started just… choking. Like, on air. He just starting hacking, doubling over and kept coughing. You patted his back, trying to calm him down. But it didn’t stop.
Against better judgement, you made him stand up. He was still choking… it sounded so horrible, like he was going to choke up every piece of lung and heart from his mouth. You made him get into the car and get to your house, away from all the people who had been giving you strange looks earlier…
You pulled up quickly into your driveway, but had to practically carry Feliciano inside, he was growing so weak. You made him lay down on the couch while you went to get him a glass of water.
He coughed some more, and he managed to croak out, “I… love… you… (f/n)…“
Too bad you never heard him.
You came back, but he had already passed out. You panicked and checked any vital signs of life - his chest for any sort of breathing, his neck and wrist for a pulse, but all was lifeless. He wasn’t cold yet, so you held his warm hand in yours until you felt his temperature die out.
And then, you wept.
And screamed and cried and blamed yourself for not being able to help out with anything. But you knew, in the back of your mind, that nothing could ever be reversed.
All that was left to do was give him a proper burial…

You were watching TV, when you saw a headliner that Italy was sinking into the ocean, and almost the entire country was gone due to oceanic risings and global warming. And you wanted to blame the stupid country for causing Feliciano to die. You wanted to blame global warming. You wanted to blame a body of water that basically did all that nature told it to.
But that would just be silly, right?

The Best Gift I Have Ever Gotten
March 17.
It was the day that Italy and Romano would celebrate every years to remember their great unification. The day they became one, solid, and unified Italy.
The day they had realized one of the main reason for the struggle towards unification.
But this year was a little different. This year, instead of staying home and celebrating with a party, Italy and Romano were going to park.
With Spain.
Spain had invited Romano to go to the park for his birthday, expecting that Japan and Germany would pull Italy away to do something for the younger's birthday but earlier, Italy had told his friends that he wa

Recap:
You looked up at Feliciano through your puffy eyes. He smiled gently at you while you sat there stunned. Tear silently fell from your eyes. When Feliciano opened his eyes you gasped. They were a dazzling shade of amber. (I'm kind of refering to the fact of Italy almost never having his eyes open in case you were confused.) They were much brighter than Lovino's serious brown eyes.
Lovino walked over to the couch towards you and looked as if he wanted to say something but wasn't quite sure what.
“Sorry about what, bella?” Feliciano asked while he gently carressed your face.

I've been waiting all my life for this morning
Just to wake up next to you holding meIt was your first Christmas with Rin as your husband.
Crazy; it really was crazy.
You couldn't believe that your six years with him had gone by so fast. And here you were, hanging ornaments on the limbs of the tall plastic tree. Red and green ones, small white glass stars, small bows and last was the star that would sit on the tippy-top of the tree. As you hung the last ornament, you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist. It made you feel warmer than you had with just the heater on.
"Rin?" You smiled at the former swimmer.
"Mhm, [Name]?
